So, that tittle is technically a lie as I’m not actually leaving… I’m just re-locating. Over to blogger, with a new domain and what not. Blogger just seemed to be more practical for what I wanted and I feel a fresh space for my blog is exactly what I needed. I also have a tone of posts already lined up and scheduled so it’s going to have more regular and better content.
Please follow my new blog on bloglovin’
I hope to see you all over there. Adios amigos x
I’m the kinda gal who likes to stick to what she knows so after having a Tumblr account for almost 4 years, I always favoured it over Pinterest. I still love my trusty ol’ Tumblr page but there’s no denying that when it comes to visual inspiration for both Fashion and Interior design, Pinterest just steals the spotlight. So after spending endless nights of religiously scrolling through my Pinterest feed, I decided to share it with you all. I’m all for minamalist designs at the moment so here’s some images from my [almost] all white pin-board.
Sandals – Birkenstock
I need to stop buying incredibly ugly but equally as comfy shoes that are now deemed trendy because the Olsen twins regularly rock them with socks and oversized knits. A classic case of; they aren’t OK until Alexa [Chung] says so.
This Easter weekend hasn’t just been about my new footwear but it’s also included a rare appearance from the sun and a pretty sick playlist to accompany said sunshine. Enjoyyyyyy.
I’ve got a chronic case of bad blogger syndrome so until that’s fixed, here’s some street style shots I got whilst wandering Shoreditch a few weeks ago.
Holla April, it’s time we got some Spring shopping done! My style is all over the place recently so I’m going back to basics with smocks and breton tees.. and if they aren’t grey or black or some shade in between, I’m not interested. Spring is also the time for investment pieces so I think it’s about time I finally gave in and got myself that Rocco bag. Don’t you agree?
Sandals £24.99 – New Look
I live in chunky boots so finding a sandal that I like is never the easiest mission so when I saw these sitting in the window of my local New Look I was all over ’em. They’re also perfecto for the transitional weather as you can still wear them with ankle socks and tights. I don’t normally like New Look but there’s no denying their shoe game is on point. Always bringing out a thrifty alternative to a bloggers fave.. think back to the Coltrane dupes for a mere £25 and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
Interning at a British fashion house weeks before London Fashion Week means comfy shoes, three lattes a day and an ‘anything is possible’ attitude.. It unfortunately does not include a series of status’ and tweets with pictures included. I’d love to of shared my experience via social media but its equally as impossible to find the time as it is unprofessional. Now that it’s all over its acceptable to talk about how I spilled red wine and kissed a thousand napkins to make the show invites a little more trashy and how I found myself at Lilly Allen’s house dropping off some insanely fluffy coats. So apologies for the god damn awful photos.
The constant reminders from industry insiders on how anticipated the show was just made me all the more excited that I was working the show for one of my favourite brands. Think 80s society girls gone wild and you’ll sum up the collection perfectly. Filled with colour, embellishments and of course some sassy phrases printed across garments.. an expected element to any House of Holland show. This year it was Rich Bish but I’ll let you see that for yourself whilst I reminisce about the after party at an exclusive swish hotel with an ever-so-generous free bar.
